Home Energy Assistance
Benton Franklin Community Action Committee (BFCAC) is once again providing low-income households with energy assistance.
This year appointments will be selected through a random registry drawing. You must enter the registry drawing to be considered.
To qualify you must:
- Live in Benton or Franklin County
- Heat your home with electric, oil, natural gas, wood, pellets, propane or pay your utilities as part of your rent
- Have proof of all income for 3 months prior to appointment, identification for all household members, verification of home address and a 12 month energy billing history.
- Meet income eligibility requirements.
If you think your household qualifies you are welcome to submit a registry form to BFCAC.
We will notify you if your form is selected, DO NOT call to check the status of registry drawings.
Only one registry form will be accepted per household. NOTE: An appointment does not guarantee assistance.
